During the classes

Musical director:Sergei Sergeevich Prokofiev is a great Soviet composer. IN figurative world S.S. Prokofiev easily and harmoniously coexists with a sharp, stern Scythian, a cheerful joker, a buffoon, a gentle lyricist, a passionate romantic rebel, and a strict classic. From birth, he heard classical works performed by his mother - Beethoven's sonatas, Chopin's preludes and mazurkas, works by Liszt and Tchaikovsky. Therefore, Prokofiev began composing music from childhood, and at the age of 5 he composed a piano piece called “Indian Gallop.”

S. S. Prokofiev wrote many wonderful works for children: piano pieces for beginning pianists, a collection called “Children’s Music,” songs with lyrics by L. Kvitko and A. Barto, as well as the symphonic fairy tale “Peter and the Wolf” based on his own text. He dedicated a large number of works for children, because he loved them very much.

Musical director:Now let's imagine that we are in concert hall. We listen to the fairy tale by S.S. Prokofiev "Peter and the Wolf" for the reader and symphony orchestra, the composer’s words are read by Natalya Ilyinichna Sats, the founder of the world’s first Children’s Musical Theater. The conductor of the orchestra is Evgeny Svetlanov.

What is the story about in the symphonic fairy tale “Peter and the Wolf”?

Student Sveta K. The symphonic fairy tale “Peter and the Wolf” tells about a brave boy (pioneer) Pete, who defeated the wolf and saved a small bird and a duck.

Student Ruslan A. In S. Prokofiev’s symphonic fairy tale “Peter and the Wolf,” the musical themes of the characters are performed by instruments of a symphony orchestra, the plot is told to the listeners by the narrator (the composer’s words are read by Natalya Ilyinichna Sats), and the musical characteristics are played by various musical instruments of the orchestra.

Musical director:What instruments did the composer choose for the musical themes of his colorful characters? (Listening to music). The symphony orchestra is divided into groups of instruments (bowed, woodwind, brass, percussion).

Student Nastya T. S. S. Prokofiev used woodwind instruments (flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon) and brass instruments (horn) in the tale. Each musical instrument of a symphony orchestra, thanks to its timbre (color of sound), depicts its own hero. The following poem talks about this:

From a swamp overgrown with duckweed,

From the fields, from the forest hollow

A melodious fairy tale

I went down the musical paths.

To the plank house, under the trees,

The path will lead you

The composer made the fairy tale characters “speak” in different languages musical instruments. After all, each instrument has its own voice-timbre.

Student Ruslan A. S.S. Prokofiev “humanizes” the animals in his fairy tale: they speak “humanly” with Petya and with each other, so their music always has expressive intonations, as if they were people; and figurative intonations: the bird chirps, its role is played by the flute. Why did the composer choose the flute for the role of the bird? By timbre! The bird is small and light, characterized by high-pitched “chirping” flute sounds.

Student Katya G. The cat is cunning and cautious, sneaking on soft paws, it is depicted by the abrupt sounds of a clarinet.

Student Roma V. Wolf - clattering teeth, the character of a dire wolf is depicted by three horns. (Translated from German - forest horn). Sharp sounds characterize a predator.

Student Alina V. The duck quacks, its leisurely waddling gait is best characterized by a “nasal” oboe.

Student Guzel B. Grandfather - his grumpy, angry character is characterized by the low sounds of the bassoon.

Student Emil F . The hunters - their careful steps (not to scare the Wolf!) pass four instruments: flute, clarinet, oboe, bassoon. And the shots of militant hunters are cymbals and a big drum.

Student Elina Zh. Petya is the main character of the fairy tale. His theme song resembles a song, a dance, and a march. This is no coincidence. After all, Petya is a boy, just like all children, he plays, has fun, dances and sings. Petit's melody is performed by two violins, viola violin and cello. In the “final procession” at the end of the fairy tale, it becomes clear that Petya is the hero, he and his friends caught the evil wolf: the music sounds solemnly, at the tempo of a march.

Musical director.Music helps us understand the actions of the heroes of a fairy tale, feel the good and evil in their actions. Prokofiev himself joked that if you listen to the music carefully, you can hear the Duck quack in the Wolf’s stomach, because the Wolf was in such a hurry that he swallowed her alive.

STORY-ROLE-PLAYING GAME “PETER AND HIS FRIENDS”

Musical director:Today we will tell you a fairy tale. This is not a simple fairy tale - a symphonic, musical one. Music and symphonic instruments will help us with this. So first let's imagine ourselves as musicians of a symphony orchestra.

Physical education lesson “Musicians”.

We are musicians today (bows with head)

We are orchestra players today(adjust the butterfly by turning your head)

Now let's stretch our fingers(we stretch our fingers)

Let's start playing together (rub your palms)

The piano began to play(we show fingers playing the piano from side to side)

The drums are beating(imitate playing the drum)

Violin - left (playing the violin on the left hand)

Violin - right(playing the violin on the right hand)

The audience clapped (clap)

Shouted “Bravo!”(raise your arms above your head)

Musical director:So here we go.

Each fairy tale hero has his own musical theme and his own instrument with a specific “voice”.

Each hero of a fairy tale has a “leitmotif”, a melody that expresses his character, gait, and voice intonations.

With their help, we will play a fairy tale, embody its characters, and tell this musical story.

Petya is the main character of the fairy tale.Let's listen to Petya's theme.

Questions:

What is Petya's character like? What does the music represent? What intonations did we hear in this melody? What instruments perform the main character's theme?

Answers: Petya is a cheerful, joyful, mischievous boy. Him good mood maybe he's even humming something. And Petya walks cheerfully, confidently.

This theme is written in the march genre. The main theme is carried out by violins, they have a ringing, high, bright sound, it conveys both the mood and the character of the main character - confident and courageous. Well, the violins are supported by violas, cellos and double basses, all string instruments that make up the most important group of instruments in a symphony orchestra.

The music director invites the boys to portray Petya, conveying the character and mood of the main character of the fairy tale.

Musical director: Petya came to rest for the holidays with Grandfather. Let's remember the Grandfather theme. He is angry and strict. In the melody you can hear him walking and scolding Petya. The grandfather is dissatisfied with the behavior of his grandson. He is concerned that Petya went behind the gate and did not close it behind him. “...Dangerous places. What if a wolf comes from the forest? What then? We hear grumbling intonations in his melody. And the timbre of the bassoon - low, grumpy, hoarse - very accurately conveys these intonations and the mood of Grandfather.

The music director invites the boys to portray Grandfather.

You can invite the children to determine which of the boys managed to most accurately embody the musical image.

Musical director: Who do you think this theme song represents? (Listening to the Bird's Theme).

This is a bird. Its theme is performed by a flute. The melody sounds in a high register, there are many trills in it, it is fast and whimsical. You can imagine how a bird flies, flutters, flaps its wings, and sings its songs.

Questions: What is Birdie's mood? What group of instruments does the flute belong to?

Children's dance creativity.

Well, now a bird’s friend has appeared in our hall - a duck. She is important and stupid, she waddles, slowly, and quacks. The theme of the duck sounds, the children convey the features of the musical image in their movements.

Musical director: And you will show this character with gestures.

The melody sounds cautious, quiet, insinuating. The cat's character is cunning, cautious, she is a real hunter. And conveys all these intonations(children's answers) – clarinet . Children's dance creativity.

Physical education minute.

Now it's time to stretch our tired muscles the way a cat does.

The cat sat down on the window,

I started washing my ears with my paw,

and we will also be able to repeat the movements behind the cat.

1-2-3. Come on, repeat it.

Writhing movements of the body (while standing still),

Wave-like movements of the hands

Musical director: Well done! Yours turns out very similar.

But then a wolf appears, we hear the threatening sound of horns. The wolf is careful and cunning. He growls - we hear the horns “roar”, he sneaks - we hear their quiet, cautious sound.

Children's dance creativity.

But then the hunters appeared. We hear them firing their guns.“Shots” of drums and timpani sound. Children imitate “shots” with movements.

But, as we know, Petya, with the help of a small but very brave bird, dealt with the wolf, and it all ended with the solemn procession of all the heroes and hunters to the zoo. Everyone is very cheerful and proud of their victory. Let us also become participants in this procession.

Final procession. Children portray fairy tale heroes.

All the heroes of the fairy tale “Peter and the Wolf” appear on the screen.

Musical director:Guys! Today we are once again convinced that music is capable of creating real miracles. She can draw pictures and create images. And, really...

What can be compared to music in sound?

Noise of the forest? The singing of a nightingale?

Are there thunderstorms? Is the brook babbling?

I can't find any comparisons.

But whenever there is confusion in the soul, -

Love or sadness, fun or sadness.

In any mood given by nature,

Suddenly music starts to sound.

It sounds in the soul, on the strings of the subconscious,

Thunders the timpani and beats the cymbals, -

Conveying joy or suffering -

The soul itself seems to sing!

Summing up the lesson

In the first lessons, students became acquainted with the musical characteristics of the characters in the fairy tale “Peter and the Wolf” - themes performed by various instruments of the symphony orchestra. On final lesson Topic: “Development of Music.” The guys continued their acquaintance with musical fairy tale S. S. Prokofiev. Here a more complex task was posed - to trace how the collision of different intonations helps the composer to more clearly reveal the content of the work. The children were asked to follow the development of music in S. S. Prokofiev’s symphonic fairy tale, based on their understanding of what “intonation” is. The children listened carefully to the main episodes of Petya’s music (theme), from the beginning of Prokofiev’s fairy tale, where the mood is calm, cheerful, cheerful, not foreshadowing any serious events, to the final, general procession-march that grew out of Petya’s melody (theme).

Students learned to identify, understand the characteristics and actions of the heroes of S.S.’s fairy tale. Prokofiev, through their musical themes, through the timbres of the instruments that the composer chose to characterize fairy-tale heroes. Name the musical instruments that perform them.

Petya and the wolf- a children's cartoon in which children first become acquainted with the sound of the instruments of a symphony orchestra, this vibrant phenomenon of Western European musical culture. If you decide to teach your child music, then he will probably become a more or less frequent visitorphilharmonic concerts. In all countries this is a normal need of a cultured, educated person.

And in this case, he will simply need at least general outline members of a symphony orchestra, with their sound timbres (learn to distinguish them by hearing),know what they look like.

This information is voluminous and therefore it would be wrong to dump it all on the child at once. It will be difficult for him to remember everything, and confusion may arise in his head. So let’s, as always, “eat the elephant one piece at a time.”

Fortunately, we have at our disposal a specially created piece of music for this purpose. Sergei Sergeevich Prokofiev, our wonderful composer, thought about children and wrote his symphonic fairy tale for them called “Peter and the Wolf.” This is both a fairy tale for children and an introduction to several instruments of the orchestra.

There are many recording options for this piece. When choosing a video to post on my blog, I thought that this film should combine rich information content, accessibility and an interesting presentation of the material. Therefore, the choice was made in favor of the recording made back in 1946.

Unfortunately, later versions do not compete with this entry in terms of the above parameters. Due to the age of the recording, the video quality in it is somewhat inferior to later samples. However, I think that the content is still more important.

So, in a fairy tale, each of the main characters is assigned a certain instrument (or group of instruments), which characterize this character with its leitmotif melody.

Thus, one gets acquainted with five wind instruments and four from the group string instruments. Here they are:

1. To characterize Petit, the composer uses a string group of instruments (I hope there is no need to draw a picture here, since instruments such as violin, cello or alto well known to everyone).

2. The bird is represented by a woodwind instrument similar in timbre to it, called Flute.

3. A woodwind instrument will introduce us to the Duck.Oboe, since its timbre is closest to the sounds made by this bird.

4. The cat is characterized by the sound of the Clarinet. Clarinet(like the flute, oboe and bassoon) belongs to the group of instruments that were once made of wood. That's why this group is called: wooden brass

5. For Grandfather, Prokofiev chose an instrument from the same group. It's called Bassoon.

6.To distinguish the wolf from this whole cute company, a tool from the group was used copper(made of copper) wind instruments. It's called French horn, and three of them are used for this purpose at once!

I hope that watching this film about symphony orchestra instruments will bring pleasure to everyone. At least with children, this film has always been a great success:

Sorry, dear friends! I can only guess how our Soviet cartoon of 1946 with the music of our Sergei Prokofiev suddenly became inaccessible to us, the natural heirs of the creations of our ancestors. But in fact, this cartoon is now the property of a certain partner of Kedoo Entertainment and I could not find it on the Internet. I'm sorry I didn't download it on time. I offer an alternative option. This is a rather interesting and informative conversation with schoolchildren with an illustration of a symphony orchestra. However, on YouTube you can find many versions of this cartoon.

DURING THE CLASSES

1. Organizational moment

Musical greeting

U: The bell rang -

D: Hello!

T: The lesson has begun -

D: Hello!

2. Updating knowledge

Teacher: And now, to tune in to a new topic, I suggest you play a game called “Guess.”

One presenter comes out and stands with his back to the class. The rest of the guys say his name one by one. The presenter needs to say the student’s name without seeing him, but hearing only his voice. Students play several times.

Teacher: Fine! How did the presenter manage to accurately determine your names without seeing you?

Teacher: Right! How were our presenters able to determine exactly whose voice was heard?

Sample student answers:

Teacher: Fine! What great fellows you are! That is, each voice has its own coloring or, more correctly, its own timbre.

TIMBRE IS THE COLOR OF SOUND

Now you know that every human voice has its own specific timbre. Do you think every musical instrument has a certain timbre?

Sample student answers: Yes, I have!

Teacher: Right! Every musical instrument has its own specific timbre. And there are a huge number of musical instruments. And today we will get to know some of them, and also learn to distinguish them from each other not only by appearance, but also in timbre.

Teacher: Now listen carefully to the poem and try to name the musical instruments that are mentioned in it.

From a swamp overgrown with duckweed,

Magic doors - pages,

Open it quickly.

Sample student answers: oboe, clarinet, bassoon, flute, horns

Teacher: Fine! What is the name of the fairy tale that is mentioned in the poem, who can say?

Sample student answers: “ Peter and the Wolf"

Teacher: Right! And this fairy tale was written by Sergei Sergeevich Prokofiev. (Slide 4 – portrait of the composer). This was in 1936. This is not an ordinary fairy tale - it is a musical symphonic fairy tale. And it is called “symphonic” because it was written for a symphony orchestra.

    S. S. Prokofiev was the first composer who decided to introduce children to the instruments of a symphony orchestra in an exciting way, in the form of a fairy tale.

T: Guys, can any of you guess what the topic of our lesson will be?

D: Symphony orchestra instruments

Lesson topic:“Instruments of the symphony orchestra in S.S. Prokofiev’s fairy tale “Peter and the Wolf.”

(On the board there is a poster “Symphony Orchestra”).

The teacher draws the children's attention to the poster "Symphony Orchestra"

Teacher: Look, guys, how many different instruments are collected in the symphony orchestra. There are strings, wind instruments, percussion instruments, and keyboard instruments. There are a lot of them. But today we will get to know only some of them, those who participate in our fairy tale.

Each fairy tale hero has his own musical theme- leitmotif.

LEITMOTHIO - A SHORT MUSICAL THEME THAT PLAYS CONSTANTLY WHEN THE SAME CHARACTER APPEARS OR WHEN HIM IS MENTIONED

He wanted children to learn to listen to symphonic music. And before the performance of this music began, the children were shown instruments and the leitmotifs of the characters in the fairy tale were played on them. During the performance, the children heard these leitmotifs many times and learned to distinguish the timbres of the instruments.

(Slide 6 - pioneer Petya)

Early in the morning Petya opened the gate and walked out onto a large lawn. The brave pioneer Petya is the main character of the fairy tale. Its theme sounds like a merry march. And Petit’s theme is performed by a stringed group of instruments: 2 violins, viola and cello.

(Slide 7 – strings and bows) – listening to the topic.

Teacher: What kind of character do you think Petya has? How did the music portray him?

Sample student answers:

Cheerful, mischievous, joyful.

He walks, hums something and jumps.

Petya is a brave and kind boy.

Petya's melody is friendly and carefree.

Teacher: Fine! Next, the next character of the fairy tale appears - this is a bird. (Slide 8 – bird, flute). “Everything around is calm,” she shouted cheerfully. Its leitmotif is performed by a flute. This instrument belongs to the woodwind group. Listen carefully to her topic so that you can answer my questions later. Listening to the topic.

- What is the bird's mood? What kind of bird can you imagine?

Sample answers from children:

Cheerful, joyful, happy.

You can imagine her sitting high on a tree branch and singing.

Or as if a bird very often flaps its wings and flies over the ground, not knowing where to land.

The bird theme is light, agile, fluttering, fussy.

Teacher: Not bad!

Following Petya, a duck appeared, waddling from side to side. The duck theme is performed by the oboe - this is also a woodwind instrument (Slide 9 - duck, oboe). The timbre of the oboe sounds “nasally” and you can hear the duck’s “quack-quack” - listening to the topic.

What kind of duck does the music represent?

Sample answers from children:

She is slow, calmly walks along the road, waddling from one paw to the other, and quacks.

The duck's melody is slow and clumsy.

The duck waddles awkwardly.

Teacher: Suddenly Petya became wary. He noticed a cat sneaking through the grass. Its leitmotif was being played by a clarinet, another of the woodwind instruments. (Slide 10 – cat, clarinet) – listening to the topic.

What can you tell about the cat after listening to its topic?

Sample answers from children:

A cat on soft paws carefully sneaks towards the bird.

Sometimes she stops.

The cat is cunning, insidious.

The sounds are low and insinuating.

Teacher: Grandfather Petya appears after the cat. (Slide 11 - grandfather, bassoon) He is concerned that Petya went outside the gate, because “the place is dangerous. If a wolf comes running from the forest, what then?” Its theme is also performed by the instrument of the woodwind group - the bassoon. This is the lowest sounding instrument of this family. It’s not for nothing that Prokofiev portrayed the grandfather for them. The bassoon performing Grandfather's theme sounds grumpy and hoarse like an old man. Listening to the topic.

Sounds like a grumpy grandpa?

Sample answers from children: Yes!

- The old grandfather is portrayed by a leisurely, grumbling melody.

- Grandfather walks slowly and with difficulty.

Teacher: And indeed. Before Petya and his grandfather had time to leave, a huge Gray wolf. (Slide 12 – wolf, horns). Its leitmotif is performed by horns - instruments of the brass group. Listening to the topic.

What can you say about this character's leitmotif? What did you hear in the music, how does the Wolf appear before us? Is this a positive or negative character in this fairy tale?

Sample answers from children:

The music portrays the Wolf as a dangerous predator.

It's the evil wolf!

You can hear him howling.

The music of the wolf is menacing, scary.

Teacher: Absolutely right! And finally, hunters appear who follow in the footsteps of the Wolf (Slide 13 - hunters, drums). Now let’s listen carefully to their theme and try to determine which instruments perform it. Listening to the topic.

Sample answers from children:

It's drums!

Percussion instruments!

Teacher: That's right, the hunters' theme is performed by a group of percussion instruments. Namely timpani and drums.

The teacher draws the children's attention to the cards that are scattered on the floor.

- Guys, the composer painted the image of a wolf and hunters so believably with musical sounds that I was even a little scared and scattered the pictures that I wanted to show you. It depicts the heroes of the fairy tale and the musical instruments that performed them. I ask you to help me and choose a pair for each character.

Musically – didactic game“Pick up a pair.”

During the final procession from the fairy tale “Peter and the Wolf,” children select a musical instrument that plays the main role of each character.

U: Well done guys, you completed the task!

U: Listen to a humorous song about a musical instrument. Guess which one!

Sings very cheerfully

If you blow into it,

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

She always sings like that.

Not a stick, not a tube,

What is this? (Answer: pipe)

Listening to the song “On a Green Meadow”

U: Determine the nature of the work.

D: A cheerful, playful song, very rhythmic and danceable.

U: You are absolutely right.

T: Did you like the song? (Answers)

U: Let's learn it, but first let's sing.

Chanting

    Working on breathing.

    Work on articulation.

    Working on diction.

R working on the song “On a Green Meadow”.

The beginning of the lyrics of the song “On a Green Meadow” is being learned.

On the green meadow - wow!

Once I found the pipe - wow!

It wasn’t a pipe - wow!

There was merriment - wow!

U: Please note: in Russian folk songs Unusual words are often present. For example, in the song “There was a birch tree in the field” there were the words “lyuli-lyuli”, but here they are “ikh-vokh”. Such words will continue to be found in folk songs.

T: To make it easier for you to remember the rhythm of the song, repeat the words and clap your hands at the same time.

(Children repeat the text, duplicating its rhythmic pattern).

T: Listen to the melody of the song and decide. How do sounds move there?

(The teacher performs the melody of the song, the schoolchildren show the movement of the palm - first up, then down.)

T: Please note: at first the sounds move one after another - up and down. Show with your palm this movement of the melody - smooth. But to make the song more fun, each phrase in it ends with a special exclamation - “them-woah!” This exclamation starts with a high sound. And then low. Now sing the words you learned.

(Children sing).

To make it more interesting to perform, let's dramatize the song and add dance moves- side step. Stand up, put your hands on your belt.

We step to the side with an extended step.

Along with steps forward, you need to perform shoulder turns, putting one or the other shoulder forward.

(Children learn movements).

T: Now sing the beginning of the song and perform the movements at the same time.

(Students complete the task).

When learning and performing a song, you should pay attention to:

    Diction (clear pronunciation of the text);

    The nature of the work (cheerful, joyful, sing with a smile);

U: In our performance, this song “sparkled” with new colors and became close and understandable to us.

4.Repetition

U: Guys, today we talked a lot about the heroes of the fairy tale “Peter and the Wolf”. We listened musical portraits these characters, they collected cards on which these heroes were depicted with paints, and these heroes can also be drawn plastically. Musical greeting “Good afternoon” Words and music by I. Menshikh

Sample student answers: by voice.

Teacher: Right! How were our presenters able to determine exactly whose voice was heard?

Sample student answers:

Teacher: Fine! What great fellows you are! That is, each voice has its own coloring or, more correctly, its own timbre. Now let's open the dictionaries and write down a new word for you TIMBRE, and let's give it a very easy and short definition.

(Slide 3 - timbre)

TIMBRE IS THE COLOR OF SOUND

Now you know that every human voice has its own specific timbre. Do you think every musical instrument has a certain timbre?

Sample student answers: Yes, I have!

Teacher: Right! Every musical instrument has its own specific timbre. And there are a huge number of musical instruments. And today we will get to know some of them, and also learn to distinguish them from each other not only by appearance, but also by timbre.

    New topic (20 minutes + 15 minutes)

Teacher: Now listen carefully to the poem and try to name the musical instruments that are mentioned in it.

*****

From a swamp overgrown with duckweed,

From the fields, from the forest hollow,

A melodious, kind fairy tale

I went down the musical paths.

To the plank house under the fir tree, (The word “ate” was replaced with “spruce”!!!)

The path will lead you

He will tell you about Pete and the Wolf,

Oboe, and clarinet, and bassoon. (The word “quartet” was replaced with “oboe”!!!)

Hidden in sheet music pages

Glades, meadows and forests.

For every beast and bird

The flute will whistle like a bird,

The oboe quacks like a duck, (The word “bassoon” was replaced with “oboe”!!!)

And the evil, despicable wolf,

Horns will replace

However, why rush?

This fairy tale is yours, take it,

S.S. Prokofiev was the first composer who decided to introduce children to the sound of a symphony orchestra in an exciting way, in the form of a fairy tale.

Each character in a fairy tale has its own leitmotif. Let's write down another term that is not yet clear to you in the dictionaries. (Slide 5 - leitmotif)

So, each character in a fairy tale has his own musical theme - a leitmotif, and his own instrument with a certain timbre that plays this leitmotif.

(Slide 6 - pioneer Petya)

The brave pioneer Petya is the main character of the fairy tale. Its theme sounds like a merry march. And Petit’s theme is performed by a stringed group of instruments: 2 violins, viola and cello.

(Slide 7 – strings and bows) – listening to the topic.

Teacher: What kind of character do you think Petya has? How did the music portray him?

Sample student answers:

Cheerful, mischievous, joyful.

He walks, hums something and jumps.

Teacher: Fine! Next, the next character of the fairy tale appears - this is a bird. (Slide 8 – bird, flute). Its leitmotif is performed by a flute. This instrument belongs to the woodwind group. Listen carefully to her topic so that you can answer my questions later.Listening to the topic.

- What is the bird's mood? What kind of bird can you imagine?

Sample answers from children:

Cheerful, joyful, happy.

You can imagine her sitting high on a tree branch and singing.

Or as if a bird flaps its wings very often and flies above the ground, not knowing where to land.

Teacher: Not bad!

The theme of the next duck character is performed by the oboe - this is also a woodwind instrument (Slide 9 - duck, oboe). The timbre of the oboe sounds “nasally” and you can hear the duck’s “quack-quack” - listening to the topic.

What kind of duck does the music represent?

Sample answers from children:

She is slow, calmly walks along the road, waddling from one paw to the other, and quacks.

Teacher: But then a cat appears! Its leitmotif is performed by the clarinet, another of the woodwind instruments. (Slide 10 – cat, clarinet) – listening to the topic.

What can you tell about the cat after listening to its topic?

Sample answers from children:

A cat on soft paws carefully sneaks towards the bird.

Sometimes she stops.

Teacher: Another fairy tale character is the wolf!

Teacher: That's right, the Wolf theme is performed by a group of percussion instruments. Namely timpani and drums.

We met you with actors symphonic fairy tale “Peter and the Wolf”, saw and heard musical instruments that perform their leitmotifs. Now you and I can distinguish the timbres of musical instruments by ear.
