First of all we connect education with school. School is the priority that means a lot in our life, on what our future depends. This is the establishment where we learn ABC, ac quire deep knowledge to get a profession, a better position in society. This is the institution where our abilities are developed and where we obtain necessary skills to explore new ideas and habits for constant study and work. This is the place where we learn to appreciate the encouragement of teachers, support of our classmates, the real value of communication and friendship.
Our school is situated in a small street close to a picturesque forest where informative excursions and sport activities can be held. Our school is a state school with some «action» facilities which include indoor sport gyms, large playing fields, and computer classes. All these facilities are located within the premises of the school. I wish our school had a superb range of sporting and academic facilities and a network of computers around the building. Our school is a three storied building where there are workshops for boys and girls, gyms a canteen, a library and classrooms for pupils.
We study a lot of subjects, none of them is optional. In all subjects we are supposed to get deep knowledge, to cope with all sorts of tasks, to do our work good enough. Besides, the aim of school presupposes to bring up creative personalities from its pupils. Obviously, without encouraging personal teaching it can hardly work.
The real education has to be a preparation for the future, when students are able to decide things for themselves as free individuals, free by self-knowledge and self-control. In the future one has to be culturally adaptable and adept at languages. The real education should produce the most well-round and the most employable adult, who will be able to market his skills across the continent, not only his country.
The aim of education should be to use childhood and adolescence to create emotional wholeness and personal strength, to develop a self-regulating character, because the human personality is a five fold constitution: it is a body, a life, a mind, a psychic and a spiritual being. None of these fundamentals stands disconnected from the others.
The aim of education can be achieved with the help of creating collaboration between teachers, parents and children. Thus, the teacher is a sculptor of young personality. Such profession demands of this man great generosity of soul, love for pupils and devotion to his work, talent to release the latent genius from a child.
But the profession isn’t something stable. In our schools today we feel shortage of progressive tutors which can teach with a new modern approach. Certainly, schools buy computers for children and teachers use whiteboards or even TFT monitors or digital projectors rather than old blackboards. Some institutions even keep in touch with parents by internet .Although if we compare with driverless cars, speech and text recognition and implantation of internal organs, financial services and any other innovation, teaching still stays really disconnected from technology. The policy of school teaching should change according to the modern requirements. Technology can improve education in many ways and there is real scope for further progress but there is no doubt real human interaction is essential. Human beings are not only hardware to be loaded with as much programs as possible. Technology is great when it’s used well in an appropriate fashion. Otherwise it’s just another distraction kids and teachers don’t need.
Learning is not only cramming the child’s brain with useful information, but teaching a child thinking skills through making right decisions and correct choices. School must stir the curiosity and creativity of pupils and not grow up a submissive machine. Children should not only be introduced to science, figures and computers but taught that communicating and skills used in fact are as important as knowledge itself. They must be aware of grammar, but not bombarded with boring terms. A report should be an interesting discovery and not a boring obligation.
The problem of education lies in the lack of ability to communicate. It has been proved that the education we get in our country is much better than that students get in more developed countries. Why not open some programs for teenagers who have problems or why not get kids involved in the process of studying with a help of a mobile-compatible learning portal where staff and students can work collaboratively. What is even more important, we have to motivate teachers and raise their salaries. We are to show all the true respect for them, so that these people will start to work to the full of their ability.
Children need more communication and soul put into schooling process. In my opinion that is the key to success if our country wants to raise teenagers who will not get involved in trouble and who will want to help their country.
To crown it all I’d like to mention that it very often happens that the curriculum squeezes subjects like Music, Art, and Drama. But Art is a mighty means of expression and it is important to make connections between Art, learning and the curriculum to help the growing soul to draw out the best and make it perfect for a noble use.
Стоит усвоить с раннего возраста, что научиться можно только тому, что любишь. И не позволять школьным предметам мешать образованию. Если вы любите англйиский — вы обязательно ему научитесь.

Let’s try to imagine the world without education, without any schools, colleges and universities. What would that be like? No school means no knowledge and skills. No university means no doctors, no engineers and no scientists. Therefore, it means no development and no inventions. Would you like to live in the world that is deteriorating? The answer is quite obvious: it’s vitally important to study and get an education.
Nowadays there’re different kinds of education, but the most wide-spread is still the traditional one that includes the set of establishments providing education. For the vast majority of people, the first step is a primary school where students get the basic skills of reading, writing and counting. The next stage is secondary school which gives broad knowledge about various subjects and prepares students for future professional education. At the end of the last form school children take exams and after school graduation they have several options: to stop studying and get a job or get professional education in college or university. Students’ life is not easy because they have to take exams every term and study hard to succeed. Nevertheless, most people remember students’ years as the best time of their lives, full of fun and entertainment.
However, modern world is full of new opportunities to get education. More and more schools and universities provide on-line courses and trainings. It has some advantages for sure, because you study in a comfortable place at comfortable time. Also, some alternative ways are becoming more and more popular, e.g. home education or some approaches connected with developing the mind without books and strict systems.
As for me, I’m fully convinced that, no matter what kind of education you support, it’s necessary to study and develop your skills, to use the experience of others to create your own ideas in order to implement them to life.

Давайте попробуем представить мир без образования, без школ, колледжей и университетов. Каким он будет? Отсутствие школ означает отсутствие знаний и навыков. Нет университетов — нет докторов, инженеров и ученых. Таким образом, отсутствие развития и изобретений. Вам бы хотелось жить в мире, который катится вниз? Ответ вполне очевиден: учиться и получать образование является жизненно необходимым.
На сегодня существуют различные виды образования, но наиболее распространенным все еще является традиционный, который включает в себя ряд учреждений, предоставляющих обучение. Для большинства людей первым шагом является начальная школа, в которой учащиеся получают базовые навыки чтения, письма и вычисления. Следующая стадия — средняя школа, которая дает более широкие знания о различных предметах и готовит учеников к будущему профессиональному обучению. В завершении последнего класса ученики сдают экзамены и после окончания школы имеют несколько вариантов: закончить обучение и найти работу, или же получить профессиональное образование в колледже или университете. Студенческая жизнь нелегка, так как они вынуждены сдавать экзамены каждый семестр и усердно учится, чтобы преуспеть. Тем не менее, большинство людей вспоминают свои студенческие годы, как лучшее время их жизни, полное веселья и развлечений.
Однако, современный мир полон новых возможностей получения образования. Все больше и больше школ и университетов предлагают онлайн курсы и тренинги. В этом, конечно, также есть свои преимущества, так как обучение проходит в удобном месте, в удобное время. Также, некоторые альтернативные варианты становятся все более и более популярными, такие как домашнее обучение или различные подходы, направленные на развитие без использования книг и строгой системы.
Что касается меня, я убеждена, что неважно сторонником какого вида образования Вы являетесь, необходимо учиться и развивать свои способности, использовать опыт других специалистов для создания свих идей с целью воплотить их в реальность.

Education is very important in our life. An educated person is one who knows a lot about many things. He always tries to learn, find out, discover more about the world around him. He get knowledge at school, from books, magazines, from TV educational programs. The pupils can get deeper knowledge in different optional courses in different subjects and school offers these opportunities. They can deepen and improve their knowledge by attending different optional courses in different subjects. The result of the educative process is the capacity for Further education. Nowadays the students of secondary schools have opportunities to continue their education by entering, gymnasiums, lyceums, colleges. But the road to learning is not easy. There is noroyal road to learning. To be successful in studies one must work heard. It"s for you to decide to learn and make progress or not to learn lose your time. The role of foreign languages is also increasing today. Thanks to the knowledge of foreign languages one can read books, magazines in the original, talk to foreigners, translate various technical articles. Moreover, joint ventures which have recently appeared in our country need specialists with profound knowledge of foreign languages like English, German or French. To know foreign languages is absolute necessary for every educated person, for good specialists. Our country is transferring to a market economy. Research and innovations should improve living, working conditions of our people. That is why it is so important to be persistent in students. English is a world language. It is the language of progressive science and technology, trade and cultural relations, commerce and business. It"s the language of international aviation, shipping and sports. It"s also the major language of diplomacy. Geographically it is the most widespread language on earth, second only to Chinese in the number of people who speak it hearing a foreign language is- not an easy thing. It"s a long and slow process that takes a lot of time and practice. A foreign language is not just a subject learnt in the classrooms. It"s something which is used in real life situations. There are many reasons why we begin to study foreign languages. First of all it"s an effective medium of international communication. I"m convinced if we are working in any brunch of science we must read books and magazines in other languages. Learning foreign languages opens up opportunities and careers that didn"t even exits some years ago. Knowing foreign languages can help us to find a job in such fields as science and technology, foreign trade and banking, international transportation communication, teaching librarian science and others. A more general aim is to make our intellectual and cultures. Learning a foreign language including learning also culture, traditions and mode of thought of different people. Of course speaking and writing in a foreign language is a difficult art and it has to be learned. Needless to say that English has become very popular today. About 350 million people speak English as its first language. About the same numbers use it as a second language. It"s an official language in 44 countries. It"s the dominant language of medicine, electronics and space technology, of international business and advertising, of radio. It has replaced French in the world of diplomacy and German in the field of science. As for me, I"m completely convinced that to know a foreign language is absolutely necessary for all educated person and modern specialists. Everything depends on our own efforts.

Learning makes people wise, ignorance, otherwise. The importance of education in our modern society is doubtless. Today’s choice of educational establishments and professions is so wide that every person has an opportunity to become a specialist in some field. After leaving school young people have plenty of opportunities. Among them there are universities and institutes of higher education, vocational schools, full-time education and distance courses.
I have always wanted to study at a university. On leaving school I had to make my choice. I started to think of what I wanted to do. I am not that kind of person who is interested in science, even though I was very good at it. But I was always attracted to people speaking a different language. I wanted to understand them, learn the way they think and be able to communicate with them. I chose the faculty of foreign languages. I must say that I really enjoy my studies.
However, there are people who do not plan entering a university. I think this is their decision and we have no right to judge them. There are people who want to enter a college or a vocational school and get their education there. To my mind, there are no bad or good professions. They all are equally important. Somebody studies for 5 years at the university to become an economist. Somebody strives to complete an MA course and gain an academic degree. Somebody studies at a specialized school to work as a carpenter later on. I think that the most important thing is to do what you love. A person who finished a cookery course might become an excellent cook, while a person who studied for 5 years at the faculty of law might never be a lawyer.
Any education is important. But it is also important for everyone to set a task according to their possibilities. Good specialists are like gold dust in any field.

Сегодняшний выбор образовательных учреждений и профессий настолько широк, что у каждого человека есть возможность стать специалистом в какой-то сфере. После окончания школы у молодых людей появляется масса возможностей. Среди них университеты и институты высшего образования, профессионально-технические училища, очное образование и заочные курсы.
Я всегда хотела учиться в университете. После окончания школы я должна была сделать свой выбор. Я начала думать о том, чтобы я хотела делать. Я не тот человек, которого интересуют науки, хотя они мне хорошо давались. Но меня всегда привлекали люди, которые говорили на другом языке. Я хотела понимать их, узнать то, как они думают, и уметь общаться с ними. Я выбрала факультет иностранных языков. Я должна сказать, что по-настоящему наслаждаюсь процессом обучения.
Тем не менее, есть люди, которые не планируют поступать в университет. Я думаю, что это их решение, и мы не вправе судить их. Есть люди, которые хотят поступить в колледж или профессионально-техническое училище и получить образование там. Я полагаю, что нет плохих или хороших профессий. Они все одинаково важны. Кто-то учится 5 лет в университете, чтобы стать экономистом. Кто-то стремится закончить магистратуру и получить ученую степень. Кто-то учится в специализированном училище, чтобы потом работать плотником. Я думаю, самое важное – это заниматься тем, что ты любишь. Человек, закончивший кулинарные курсы, может стать превосходным поваром, а человек, отучившийся 5 лет на юридическом факультете, может так никогда и не стать юристом.

It is important to remember, that studying abroad is never easy. It requires hard work and a lot of effort.
